IT Firm Learns that a New Business Climate Calls For a New Plan

After a 6-month-long strategic planning process evaluating the organization relative to the marketplace and its needs, Information Systems Experts, LLC (ISE) has emerged as an expanded team with a new game plan. What started as a simple assessment revealed the need for the company to broaden its range of services to stay competitive in an increasingly challenging business climate. In recent years, we have observed our clients placing a high value on thought leadership and an ability to sort out a myriad of business/technology issues. We also believe that technology companies need to elevate their understanding of the business needs behind the technology. That is exactly what we have poised ourselves to do” says president Jeff Hastings. Through the elevation of existing core competencies and staff and the leveraging of key strategic partnerships, the company will now offer a range of services far beyond its application development roots resulting in a more holistic approach to applying technology to business cases. These new business units include Business Advisory, Business Intelligence, Application Development, Mobile Technology and Emerging Technology. As of February 8, the company became known as Guilford Group. Greg Sinise, Executive VP of Sales and Marketing, explained “The new logo mark and tag line are representative of our company’s ability to pair business and technology expertise to help clients navigate a teeming pool of possibilities. In the current economic climate, companies need more than just answers, they need the right answer.” 

When asked about the timing of the strategy project and resulting rebrand, Mr. Hastings had the following to say, “Businesses evolve and so do their needs. We’re a company with a long history of adapting to meet those evolving needs and this latest evolution, while our most aggressive to date, is simply the next chapter for us…and we think it will be our most exciting yet!”
